When I realised I was still wearing my maternity clothes seven months after giving birth to my son, it really did motivate me to start getting back in shape. I had gone up to 12 and half stone and was getting really fed up.

Being a busy mum meant that I often skipped breakfast and had picked up some really bad eating habits. I'd just snack on anything I had in the house in the mornings and go out for fat laden lattes and cakes with other new mums in the afternoons.
